Here are a few more tips to help you find the kind of looks that will enhance your overall beauty, sensuality, and natural prettiness for your shoot:
Visualization - See your wearing the type of clothing you want in your shoot. Envision the sexy heels, props, and accessories you want to wear. Go back through your favorite fashion magazines and study how they pair together styles, fabrics, and colors to create unique runway glamour.
Closet-Raiding - Dig deep into your own closet to find the items that always make you feel like you are super-sexy and on your game. Let you imagination go wild!
Pick a Friend's Brain - Grab one of your style-savvy friends and go visit some women's fashion boutiques together. Let your friend help you with suggestions and insight and hunt yourself an ensemble that does more than just flatter your figure, it makes you feel exquisitely beautiful and unquestionably relaxed.
Lingerie - Choose the lingerie that will highlight your every curve. Just remember that there are times when just a soft sweater, over-sized button-down shirt, or a tight T-shirt can be sexier. Really let your own uniqueness and personality shine through.
Add Meaning to Your Shoot - Bring along something that is meaningful to you and your significant other. That's an excellent way of personalizing a shoot. It could be some lingerie that your husband gave you on your birthday or for your anniversary. Maybe you have charm bracelet he gave you once that really makes you feel special. These feelings will come out in your shoot. Be creative in how you present yourself.
5 Days Prior to Your Shoot......
Wax - If you wax you want to do so prior to your shoot. This helps to avoid any redness or bumpiness. Be sure that your eyebrows are shaped and groomed nicely. If you have plans to visit a salon to get your hair cut or colored, give yourself some time to be sure you're happy with the results.
Manicure/Pedicure - Make sure you come in pedicured and manicured so you have a flawless finish. Keep out of the sun. Having a base tan looks nice in photos but red, blotchy, irritated skin doesn't.
Drink Lots of Water to Hydrate Your Skin
The key to luminous skin is staying well hydrated. Lower you salt intake as well as avoiding alcohol. They can cause you to retain water. Try your outfits and lingerie on so you know they fit you properly. Take off all the labels and tags. Iron or steam your ensembles, then hang them up properly so they'll keep their shape on your trip to the studio.
That Very Important Day Before the Shoot....
Hygiene - Today is about getting all your ducks in a row. Take a bath, shave, and then moisturize. Make sure you've removed ALL size and care labels, price tags, and anything else that doesn't belong from your clothing (especially lingerie and panties). Those are the kinds of things that can totally ruin what would otherwise be great photographs.
Double-Check - You need to double-check everything. Make sure you have it all properly packed and you are ready for your shoot. Check your jewelry, props, accessories, and heels.
Be Cautious With Time - Give yourself more than enough time to make it to the studio without becoming overly stressed. Get online and check weather reports and the traffic conditions for that day. Plan to leave in enough time to cover any unexpected delays.
Get a good night's sleep. Getting 8 hours in is ideal.
The Day of The Shoot
1. Use only clear deodorant.
Eat something light before you leave.
Wear loose-fitting clothing to avoid making red marks on your skin.
Arrive at your shoot with a clean, moisturized face and extra clean hair (very important).
